Is PowerNap eV a level 1, level 2 or DC charger?
a. For the North American market, PowerNap was designed to be the fastest AC charger conceivable which happens to be level 2 (240V). The charger can deliver power faster than your eV can accept.
b. For the European, Australian and Indian markets, we are again the fastest AC charger conceivable be it 1ϕ or 3ϕ ready to deliver the speediest charging experience your eV needs.c. While DC charging is great for highway roatrips, it costs a lot more and is harder to find an availble charging gun when you need it.
d. Remember those long weekends made longer waiting at a SuperCharger location waiting your turn? Well if you had PowerNapped at your hotel, you would need less DC charging.
e. Outside of roadtrips, DC should only be used if you have no access to PowerNap.
f. While faster AC charging offered by PowerNap is a good habit, DC charging should be thought of as a trip to the emergency room.How long and how complex is the installation?
a. Designed for a household electricians to hardwire. A certified professional who puts safety first and hooks up the PowerNap to a breaker with 25% excess capacity above peak demand.

a. Any PowerNap charger regardless of model number is ideal for your car.
b. PowerNaps can never overcharge your car battery
c. Depending on how many vehicles you need to charge simulateously you install the model with as many charging guns.
d. Then why do you have different product models? We have different models for different geographies that may have differences in the way the grid works.How safe is it for my car to take a PowerNap ?
a. During your PowerNap, we monitor for overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, ground fault leakage, communication failure with the car, and practically anything that could go wrong. In the event of slightest variance from ideal circumstances we pause charging as a failsafe.
b. When conditions return to ideal we can even resume the Nap automatically provided the car was plugged in to a PowerNap the whole time.
c. Should there be a disturbance in the supply voltage from the grid, we detect that too and protect your car.
d. PowerNap has been tested on dozens of cars from various manufacturers and has till date never encountered a problem providing faster AC charging reliably.
e. Besides no one ever got hurt by taking a Nap.
