What problem are we addressing?
Access to ubiquitous faster AC charging that is reliable, affordable and habitual...at the office or home where your eV is already parked for 8hrs or longer.
While eV adoption was rapid to begin with, it hit a chasm of adoption where we did not proceed from the early adopters to the early majority. While global interest rates being high may be the short term concern the long-term concern stems from an inability to charge vehicles where they are already parked. More than 90% of charging happens on AC but faster charging is uncommon and costs a fraction of DC charging. For those living in apartments or multi-family homes, charging at home is an uphill task with getting cabling to their parking spot. Shared charging at home or the office will solve that problem for the vast majority.
